You should know that "dpi"
means dots per inch,
and Pantone colors
mode are lithograhique.

Line Art (black and white bitmap)
The image should have the same resolution as the printer.
Ex.: digital printer 600dpi = image 600pdi.
Ex.: lino (film) 2400dpi = image 2400dpi.

Grayscale, Duotone and Process
To simplify life for everyone::
lithography (lino) the image size at 100%
must have a minimum resolution of 266dpi,
300 dpi is better, more is not required..

Digital The image size at 100% must
have a minimum resolution of 150 dpi,
200 dpi is better but not required.
